2008 solo Exhibition @ MoRelax!
In this work, black and white is the only factor. Black indicates 陰 (Ying) and white indicates 陽 (Yang). Everything in this world consist of negative and positive, and those two dimensions are in interdependence. Ying & Yang inhibit and convert each other, at the same time whole the things in the universe includes those two portions inside.
Ying - 陰, having softly feminal static forgiveness, but also reminds sup pressed. Yang-陽, having virile deep vast silence, and holding Ying as if it were background in the works., although it is also signing destructive.
Expression of fusion of Western technique and Chinese style is on the works by drawing with acrylic paint on canvas and soft lined plaid pattern of black.
My experiment of making the middle image of something specific and non-specific is displayed in many metaphors in not only flowers but also in other works.

この作品は、白と黒のみで構成されています。
黒は陰(イン)、白は陽(ヤン)をそれぞれ表しています。
森羅万象は陰と陽から成り、お互いに抑制しあったり、変化を及ぼし合ったり
しながら、互いに内包されています。
黒で表される陰は、柔らかく女性的で揺るぎない寛容さをイメージさせますが、同時に抑圧も感じさせます。
白で表される陽は、男性的な広大さ、深さ、どっしりとかまえた寡黙さを表しており、作品の背景となって陰を包み込むようでありながら、破壊的ですらあります。
キャンバスにアクリル絵具を使い、柔らかな線で黒と白の格子模様を描くことで、
西洋の技法と中国のスタイルを融合させています。
明確さと曖昧さの中間的イメージを創る試みは、花だけに限らず多くの隠喩で表現されています。

黑與白是本次作品中唯一的兩個顏色，黑是陰，白是陽。陰陽學說認為，宇宙間所有事物皆有陰陽兩個屬性，且兩者蘊含著相互依靠，相互制約，相互轉換的關係，陰中有陽，陽中有陰，任何一方都不可能離開另一方單獨存在，他們是一種協調的力量，是孕育天地萬物的生成法則。在這些作品中，想表現出陰是柔靜，是雌性，是主題，是包容力，是抑制，是晦暗。陽是深廣冥寂，是雄性，是背景，是破壞力，抑是明亮。
線條的柔，黑與白的空間制衡，結合西方的媒材創作出本次作品，利用壓克力顏料在畫布上，嘗試做出具體與非具體之間的圖像，花不只是一種圖像，是許多隱喻的表現。
